TerraWest is offering an immediate opportunity for an ambitious and growth minded Project Manager within our Prince George office. The Project Manager plays an important leadership role in the management and communication of Phase I & II ESAs, Stage 1 & 2 PSIs, Detailed Site Investigations, Remediation, Compliance Monitoring, Auditing, and related contaminated sites services.
This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for executing projects with the project team. A desire to train, mentor, and lead is extremely important.
Specific job duties include but are not limited to:
- Business Development & Client Liaison
- Project Design, Budgeting & Proposal Preparation
- Project Logistics & Execution
- Training & Mentoring
- Reporting & Technical Review
- Fieldwork & Contractor Management
The Project Manager has strong technical experience in contaminated sites obtained through education and boots on the ground fieldwork, complimented by team based leadership skills such as transparent communication, humour, positivity, open mindedness, and decision making confidence.
The eligible candidates will have at a minimum:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree within any of the major sciences (membership within a professional organization is preferred);
- Project Manager – 5 or more years direct experience in contaminated sites assessments and remediation;
- Strong computer and interpersonal skills;
